  1. Sweet Alyssum has long perished from the heat of spring here. We are truly worlds apart. Your photo of its sweetness is beautiful. I was just wishing summer would go away quickly as we seemed to move right from winter into summer way back in February. But I’m sure you are enjoying thoughts of summer. Thank you for the visit to my blog. Somehow I lost track of you but I’ve added you back to my blogroll. It is so nice to reconnect.

  2. Happy Summer to you, too, Nancy! I always think of summer afternoons as a time to not feel guilty about being lazy…just enjoying the moment.

  3. Happy Summer to you Nancy. I just want it to arrive and stay! I haven’t been by your blog in a while and it’s certainly my loss. Your photographs are just incredible. So sharp and clear. You are truly amazing with your camera.

  4. Hope your first day of summer was all you imagined Nancy. It’s felt like summer here for over a month, lol. Beautiful photo & quote today. :)

  5. We’ve had our first day of summer and now it’s decided to cool down to the 60’s. Will Mother Nature ever make up her mind?
By the way…I know that you often put Mary Oliver’s poetry on your blog. I put an interview with Mary and Maria Shriver on my blog yesterday…you might find it interesting.

  6. Happy belated first day of Summer Nancy!!! The sun is finally here after 2 months of rain, thank heavens :) . Your blog is looking very beautiful, and your photos spectacular! This alyssum is magnificent up close.
