Oh, Look. Pretty Snow.

Forgive my sarcasm, because even though the roads are quite treacherous right now and we’re expecting another 15 – 20 cms of snow with strong winds this evening, I just can’t help but think it’s pretty — pretty ugly, pretty hard to shovel, pretty treacherous to drive in, and at this point, pretty boring.  But, I must admit, it is pretty beautiful, too. :-)

  1. I have been thinking the same thing..pretty but enough already and we are getting more…more this weekend, more yesterday and today and then the cold winds…I know in my heart spring will come very soon but I am trying to practice patience…not working…

  2. Even when it’s pretty to look at, we can get pretty tired of the ravages of winter. On the bright side, spring is just around the corner!

    Great photos!

  3. Well, from here I think it looks beautiful, but I understand what you mean. It’s why I don’t live in snow anymore. Pretty to visit, and pretty difficult to live in…for me anyway. I hope you get a little thaw soon, and some signs of spring!

  4. My feelings exactly. I shoveled this morning, and will have to go out again in a bit move another several inches.

Pretty photos! My view looks like your top shot right now.

  5. Hi Nancy.I had to laugh because I have been feeling the same way about snow. LOL!So pretty to look at but so sick of it all.I like it in others picture rather than out my front door.

  6. Great images! …Especially if to look at them when we are warm and cozy inside our homes. But, for me, beautiful will be always the first thing when I’m thinking of snow.
