Sugar Frosted

I love the way the first fine snow makes the pine trees look sugar frosted...

“You can live for years next door to a big pine tree, honored to have so venerable a neighbor, even when it sheds needles all over your flowers or wakes you, dropping big cones onto your deck at still of night.” – Denise Levertov

  1. Nancy girl, that is simply GORGEOUS ! and I love the narrative about the pine too : )
Some times the every day objects we see, BLOSSOM in one way or another to thump us over the head and say LOOK AT ME !

  2. We had a row of white pines across our yard…they were just breathtaking on a frosty morning. I loved all the pine needles…and did pine cone wreaths with the cones. I miss them.
