Nourishment For Heart And Mind

“Let Christmas not become a thing
Merely of merchant’s trafficking,
Of tinsel, bell and holly wreath
And surface pleasure, but beneath
The childish glamour, let us find
Nourishment for heart and mind…”

  1. Nancy girl I love your collage and the poem (how true is that ?)
Your blog is looking very festive with this “snow” falling here : )

  2. Certainly a way to live life, what a beautiful quote. We are trying to live in the moment, and enjoy what we have.

Thanks for the reminder that this is the right path to take.

  3. Last week, the malls were empty…I think more and more people are ‘tuning’ into making Christmas about real things, not imagined. About feeling things, not seeing; about creating not consuming.

  4. Hi Nancy…Your collage is so festive and the little poem is a perfect reminder of the “reason for the season”
Our mall is certainly not empty right now, but I have noticed that saying Merry Christmas is back in fashion. Have a blessed Christmas…Balisha
