GB Muse Day – Merry December 1st!

Do their little black caps keeps them warm?

“I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December
A magical thing
And sweet to remember.

‘We are nearer to Spring
Than we were in September,’
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.”

  1. What a sweet Chicakdee! When I went out to make pics of the last blossoms ahead of the coming freeze, I heard the plock, plock cry of a woodpecker high in an oak.

  2. What a sweet photo of the chickadee. They’re such tiny little birds. I enjoy the poem you use… optimistic for sure. :-) If the little caps keep them warm, shouldn’t they also have tiny little scarves?

  3. Nancy girl that is a gorgeous picture of this little creature .. they are so pretty !
We had wet snow flakes yesterday .. as opposed to dry snow flakes ? LOL
Winter is working its way here more diligently … eeekkk !
The little poem is perfect : )
