First Snow At Leaping Greenly

A mix of fall colour and hint of winter

We had our first significant snowfall here in Windsor, Nova Scotia last night.  It’s melting quickly today, so I snapped a few photos from the front deck.  This pasture and that old fence are so photogenic, no matter the weather.  The cows, happily, have gone to their winter barn.

Even a scrub spruce is pretty with a dusting of snow
The rhodie hugs herself against the cold
Is any tree prettier than a snowy pine?

Don’t forget to post about the first snowfall in your area and then leave a link in comments on the First Snowfall Project page.  Click on the logo in the sidebar for more information.

  1. You know just before we got our “extremely early, and no it’s not La Nina yet….” snow fall, I was thinking about those first snowfall posts.

I really didn’t want to partake, LOL, and we are usually the last ones to get any. Now here we are, among the first.

Yours looks lovely on my computer screen, and that’s where I think it should stay.
