Brooding sky and dancing flames of trees...

“October is crisp days and cool nights, a time to curl up
around the dancing flames and sink into a good book.”

    1. Kylee, this was taken about half way between here and my home town (village) of Walton. It’s a wooded, secondary road that always has spectacular fall colour. :) There’s not a house for about 15 miles on this stretch. Lots of small rivers and creeks, ponds and wetlands.

  1. Sheer perfection in digital form, and the quote is so perfect that I wonder why I’m not curled up with a book myself? Well, it’s ’cause I’m wrapped up in the beauty that you and others offer freely! Thanks, dearie – this is very, very nice!
