The Crow

The blackest of them all, the crow...

Even the blackest of them all, the crow,
Renders good service as your man-at-arms,
Crushing the beetle in his coat of mail,
And crying havoc on the slug and snail.
– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

  1. So there is some good in the crow! We tried a new fertilizer containing corn gluten which is supposed to coat and suppress growth of weed seed (well, any seed) but the crows and magpies ate it!! My lawn is full of weeds!!! Agh!
