  1. Is this a wild rose bush? It reminds me of the rose bushes that grow wild along the woodline here in Ohio.

    It looks like it, Bren, but no, it was planted on the property years ago. Someone once identified it for me, but darned if I can find that info now.

  2. In my life–it’s mostly thorn bushes have roses. I’ve always thought that Knock Out Rainbow variety was bred with this rose you so beautifully photographed. They sure look similar.

  3. The more I read about Lincoln’s life, the more I realize that he sought to rejoice even in adverse circumstances.

    Are those wild roses? They are beautiful…
