Skywatch Friday: A Dickens Sunset

A tranquil end of day

“A tranquil summer sunset shone upon him as he approached the end of his walk, and passed through the meadows by the river side. He had that sense of peace, and of being lightened of a weight of care, which country quiet awakens in the breasts of dwellers in towns.” – Charles Dickens

  1. Amazing. Your photo completely goes with this quote and gives me such a sense of calmness and tranquility. Ahhhh…..Ommmm………….

  2. Nancy girl that was gorgeous : ) .. the quote almost makes the reader lightened in mood ?
Garden days do that for me .. no matter how hard I work and knowing the pain will be horrible .. being in the garden like that is a soul quencher ?
I haven’t been able to get an intense sunrise in ages .. I have to wait for late summer to Autumn again ..
    Joy : )
