In My Mind’s Eye

“From December to March, there are for many of us three gardens:
the garden outdoors, the garden of pots and bowls in the house,
and the garden of the mind’s eye.”

  1. My mind’s eye is very active these days as I see green shoots from bulbs breaking through the surface of dead leaves and fat buds appearing on bare branches. I can hardly wait for showtime!

  2. Oh, what a great quote… I took advantage of a relatively mild afternoon to pull out a few of my pots — covered with snow, too, earlier in the day. But it’s still about thinking about the garden of the mind’s eye.

  3. I might add, the garden of desire in visiting any store, or nursery with living plants in it. We are so thrilled to see something anything green….
