Winter Dressed

Of winter’s lifeless world each tree
Now seems a perfect part;
Yet each one holds summer’s secret
Deep down within its heart.

  1. Dear Nancy, Today’s poem is completely new to me and so aptly fits the beautiful image. It captures so well the cyclical nature of our lives – trees and people.

  2. Lovely in image and words. I love “… holds summer’s secret
    Deep down within its heart.” Beautiful photo! The stark background mirroring the colors in the trees and snow. Light and dark … monotone. Perfect!
