  1. One of my most favorite scents of summer!

Mine as well — its indescribable, yet you’d know what it was blindfolded. One of those stay-with-you-forever scents. :)

  2. I LOVE the scent of lilacs. We have a bush we almost ripped out because we didn’t know what it was. We’d been here 3 years before it bloomed. It was scraggly and planted in total shade, and after we removed a few trees, it finally bloomed a bit. We were just getting ready to dig it out when we noticed the buds. Now, I anticipate its bloom every year. It doesn’t bloom a lot, but it smells like Heaven.

Yes, you could say they are Heaven Scent. :-) I’m glad you saved your lilac!

  3. What a clever post title Nancy! You are so right ~ lilacs have the most delicious scent of all. It is downright heavenly. What a beautiful arrangement that is too. Ours are long over here but they’ll be worth the years wait to smell them again.
