  1. And we had a grand sunny day here. Was able to wash the railings, sweep the path and gather a few leaves – felt marvelous to have that warmth on my back and face.

  2. Once again…it’s raining on Copper Top this weekend. But the saying is correct, the sun does give me the best dose of happiness. Now if it would just rain on week days things would be great.

  3. I’m hoping that you have many more sunny days to come! And that they come sooner rather than later. All of our hardwood trees are beginning to leaf out, creating a green haze.

  4. Ah yes, a sunny spring day is balm to the winter weary soul for sure, and your photo conjures up sunny spring thoughts :)
Wash hung on the line smells so fresh and clean. Soon I’ll be using the clothes line on a regular basis.
Our temp reached 72ºF/22.2ºC this afternoon and the sunshine was glorious! Yesterday was beautiful too, and I was able to get out into the garden. Pure bliss!
Glad you had a taste of spring :)

  5. Oh, so lovely, Nancy! This conjures up memories from childhood of hanging laundry outside in the sunshine. How fresh everything smelled after swaying in the wind and being baked by the sunshine. Open windows, birdsong, light dappling through leaves. Ah…summer.

  6. This is why I still love hanging out the laundry, Nancy–the only housekeeping chore I can honestly say I like. Lovely image! There’s nothing like the smell of freshly washed clothes and sheets that have dried in a warm spring breeze.
