Glad Hearts

rose_center1Between us, there are many miles
But still we manage to share our smiles.
Not with you, in person, it is true,
I “travel” daily to be with you.
To share your gardens, or just a flower,
I thank you for many a pleasant hour.
May all that’s happy come your way,
Enjoy this special Glad Hearts Day.

  1. Nancy-
What a wondderful kind-hearted gesture! Being a lone wolf of sorts, I am always bombarded with the belief that you need to be in a relationship, especially at Valentine’s Day. I shall now start referring to it as Kind Heart’s Day. Warmest wishes to you and yours

Hi Teza — I like the idea of Kind Heart’s Day very much!

  2. Thanks for sharing the beautiful poem and photo, Nancy. Happy Valentine’s Day, dear bloggin’ friend.

And right back atcha’, Joey dear. :)

  5. Dear Nancy…Thank you so much for the sweet poem, the delightful sentiments and the rose. I do hope you and Charlie have a fun Valentine’s Eve. Gail

  6. Nancy, you have such a way with words.
It’s past Valentine’s Day, but never too late to say have a lovely day, and thanks for the poem and beautiful bloom.

  7. This is such a lovely poem Nancy:) Sorry I didn’t see it sooner–I hope you had a very nice Valentine’s Day! I need to try to write more poetry. I have been busy lately and haven’t just ‘sat back’ to come up with anything. I do need to be ‘inspired’ to write one, usually. Have a great day today!
