GB Muse Day – December 2008

“I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December,
A magical thing
And sweet to remember.

‘We are nearer to Spring
Than we were in September,’
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.”
–   Oliver Herford,
I Heard a Bird Sing

  1. That’s something to think about. We are another step closer to spring now! Lovely poem & photo for muse day Nancy. :)

  2. Thank you for this optimistic note, Nancy. My winter wonderland of yesterday has turned into a winter nightmare today. I’m already wishing for spring!

I do hope you get a chance to post photos of your parents’ past Christmas decorations; they sound beautiful!

  3. That is such a pretty picture Nancy !
