  1. I am so envious that you have captured the sparkle in the snow. I have tried to capture those “diamonds” shining in the snow plenty of times but haven’t hit the button at the right time. love seeing the shadodws and sparkles together.

  2. God, how gorgeous, how awesome, Nancy! I give thanks for every snow-free day here, I confess: Winter driving brings out my Southern bigtime. But I celebrate the beauty with you, and thank you for sharing it with us!

  3. Beautiful shots… you really have some significant snow there! We’re still regularly in the 50’s during the day with low 40’s at night. And the past week has been oddly sunny… not going to complain though…

Thank you for sharing your sparkle and shadow with those of us still without the beauty of snow.

  4. Your pictures are beautiful as always! My cats hair would be just as long as those two precious babys if I did not clip them! But those babies need that fur with all the snow you are getting. Burrrrr.. Hope all gets well soon…

    Happy Thanksgiving…

  5. Lovely photos, Nancy! You have such an artist’s eye to see the possibilities in something as simple as the shadows on snow.

Glad to know your father-in-law is doing better and that your daughter arrived safely in California.

  6. lovely trio Nancy … I see we continue to shoot some similar shots … I took so many like this last year I should post a few of those ‘extras’ :) … I’m sure you know what I mean!
These are so soft and peaceful — really calm and zen-like.

  7. astonishing.
makes me long even more for snow… the stuff we’ve had can hardly be called snow as it vanishes so quickly and comes in tiny amounts. i want the full, white, muffling blanket of glitter!
    thanks for sharing.
