August Rain

“Open the window, and let the air
Freshly blow upon face and hair,
And fill the room, as it fills the night,
With the breath of the rain’s sweet might.”

  1. We’ve had plenty of rainy nights this summer, but lately the air has been a little too cool…too soon! We’ve managed to keep at least one window open a little.
This poem captures that wonderful rainy night cozy feeling beautifully. Thanks for sharing it.
