  1. There’s nothing so fascinating as a full moon. The clouds in your photo do add a sculptural element to the picture–this is a work of art!

  2. Rose, the sky really had an eerie quality to it this evening…much more like (dare I say it?) October than August. :)

  3. Oh, please do dare to say October cause you know I have an ongoing conversation about how it is Autumn already. I accept that as support! Hugs to all those still suffering from awful heat syndrome or wishing to stretch out summer for the rest of the year. My apologies but the signs are telling me—early Autumn.

Nancy–your photo is so……mysterious. I love it. It makes me feel like lighting my cinnamon/orange candle. Oh… I did that already. I also have a stack of fall books to read.

  4. Lovely photograph, it is feeling autumnal in the evenings here too. Often too much cloud to see the moon though, just more rain!

  5. This is kind of spooky. I like it though. I saw the moon last night through my sheer curtains, but didn’t take my camera out.

  6. When the night sky looks like this it makes me think of the autumn sky in October! I can’t wait for autumn to be here.

  7. “Smoky moody” is a good description.

I too am feeling signs of early autumn, earlier than usual, and much further south. We’ll see!
