Raindrops on Parade

We’ve had some very heavy showers as Tropical Storm Cristobal bears down on Nova Scotia. We need the rain; here’s hoping it behaves itself and leaves quietly. :) I removed most hanging baskets and boxes because of the expected winds and possible thundershowers, and took a few pics of the remaining raindrops.

Below are the straggly geraniums hubby brought home which have really taken off and are starting to produce some pretty blooms. They were without labels, so it’s been interesting to see what colors emerge. The center plant is an ivy geranium. It looks bright and cheery when hung from the balcony railing.

“Thy fate is the common fate of all;
Into each life some rain must fall.”

  1. That big raindrop about to fall from the next to last photo is breathtaking! I still have your video on my faves list and occasionally go view it again!

  2. a refreshing post Nancy, it’s very hot and miserably humid (deep summer here) in Nashville. The detail in your red petaled raindrop is neat!

I appreciate and welcome your comments!
