Bailey’s Bottle Buttery Buds

They certainly show a hint of a soft, butter yellow…

“A bud is a flower-to-be. A flower-in-waiting. Waiting for just the right
warmth and care to open up. It’s a little fist of love waiting to unfold
and be seen by the world.” – Thomson Gale

  1. Sounds like my little second grandchild in-waiting! She felt it kick! Called me today. Hope we’re past the bad part. (She miscarried last fall). Your bud sounds like my sweet little baby; a flower-in-waiting. A fistful of love, about to unfold and be seen by the world. Thank you for this! I think I shall copy it and send it to my girl.

  2. This quote reminds me of the daylily that has a bud ready to open. This will be the first time it has bloomed for me, and I can hardly wait. Great photo – goes perfectly with quote.

  3. Nasturtium buds and leaves are so intriguing to me. I love this photo because of that.
