has set in with its usual severity.” Charles Lamb

Yes, it’s still grossly hot and humid. Ugh!

  1. Hi Nancy, I was hoping it wasn’t the nasturtium when I saw this post title. :)

We’re getting a refreshing reprieve from it today – only 78 degrees after rain last night. H&H will be back tomorrow. I hope a break from the dreaded double H comes your way soon.

  2. Perfect quote and perfect photo for the perfectly steamy summertime weather we’re having.

  3. Nancy, a lovely poignant photo indeed – it is grossly hot and humid here in Ontario too, and I am growing more insular by the hour. How we are all longing for autumn.

  4. Oh my, I hope you get some relief from the heat and humidity very soon! Love the photo and quote though…

  5. Wonderful way to express the heat! But as all gardeners know, as long as there is a sign of life, there is hope. so, keep the faith and keep cool.
