Weekend Snapshot: A Hint of Red

Bending beneath the invisible west-wind’s sighs.”

  1. I bought a bouquet of these for my mother-in-law on Easter but never got to see them opened up past this stage. You’ll photograph them as they bloom, won’t you?

I still can’t help singing “Feed Me Seymour, Feed me all night long!”

  2. Beautiful! I have to enjoy tulips vicariously, as rabbits always eat mine just as they’re beginning to open. The only color I get from the flowers is little shreds lying on the ground. I’ve given up on growing them.

  3. Aren’t tulips lovely at this stage? Gosh you’re so lucky to have them up already but I realize how far south you are (we still have snow and ice), but my rhubarb that is on the south side of the house is now uncovered!
