Daffodil Overload

I couldn’t resist one last set of photos now that the daffodils I received last week are in their prime, although I’m sure some of you have got “daffodil overload” by now. :) I do love these frilly, sunny blooms!

  1. I love your quote. So true!
Thanks for visitng my blog. I hope to see you again soon. I’ll be back here also.

  2. Hi Nancy,
I love daffodils, probably because they are a sure sign of spring. Beautiful photographs! Thanks for visiting my blog I will be back here as well.

  3. Nancy, the closeups especially the backlit ones are so nice. Thank you. My daffs are barely up and are beaten down by rain today.~~Dee

  4. Thanks all for your lovely comments. :) Kat, I believe you’re right — I don’t think I’d ever tire of those lemony blooms!

  5. Nancy – I can never get enough of daffodils and your photos are very unique. I like the light coming through them – very interesting. Nothing says Spring like our daffodils.

  6. No overload here. I enjoy everyone I can. I really like the transparency of the next to last photo. It is my favorite. Very nice!

  7. Hi Nancy –

One downside to living in Sydney Australia is that it is too warm to grow daffodils (and other bulbs such as tulips). I’m very envious :( as some of the bulbs (as your photos show) are very beautiful!

  8. The daffodil is another bright spot in the garden! Mine will be here before too long. Your photos are just beautiful. I especially like the shot from the backside of the daffodil.

I enjoyed the quote, also. ;-)

I appreciate and welcome your comments!
