Garden Blogger’s Muse Day – February 1

“…Though the winds are keen and chill
Roses’ hearts are beating still,
And the garden tranquilly
Dreams of happy hours to be
In the summer days of blue
All its dreamings will come true.”

  1. I really like your rose hips photo and quote, along with the Daisy poem. Thank you for sharing the history of the mining in your area too, about the fossil your daughter found. I found that very interesting!

  2. Nicely done, Nancy. Do you think we’ll ever get back to ‘normal winter weather’ (like the same weather for more than a day) any time soon? The sun is nice, but now we’re in for lasagna precipitation again!

  3. Your post brought a bright beam of sunlight into my winter morning. How pleasant, too, to read some poetry by LM Montgomery. :)

I appreciate and welcome your comments!
