Weekend Snapshot #5

“Like snowflakes, my Christmas memories gather and dance…each beautiful, unique and too soon gone.”
– Deborah Whipp

I dread the task of “putting Christmas away”, but started taking the ornaments off the tree last evening. I thought I’d share this photo before they get packed away for another year.

  1. I too have this feeling of sadness when it’s time to keep the ornaments ;( Thanks for dropping by and your comment.

  2. Nancy, Blogger isn’t recognizing me for some strange reason, again. I was going to make the identical comment everyone else has: great shot! I love these different perspectives … like that great “short post”. Very nicely done.

  3. Nancy, I like this picture very much. The utter simplicity of a glass ball ornamentsis equisite in itself; combined in this way, they are exquisitely magical.

  4. I know sad huh but I think we appreciate them more since we only have them out for a few weeks a year I do think we would get too used to them if we had them up all the time. Nice shot.

  5. Beautiful picture! Maybe you can make a tradition of interesting ornament pictures as you put them away to distract yourself from what you don’t like about having to put christmas away. :)

    Thanks for the visit!

  6. I knew it was going to be kept. I started removing my christmas decors too. And the house suddenly looked empty.

I love how you took a shot of the balls in different colors.

  7. there’s something about Christmas decors that have giggly and happy effect on me. This is a nicely captured photo.

I appreciate and welcome your comments!
