A Short Post

Today was one of those “nothing days” that seem to slip by almost unnoticed. I took a short shopping trip and was stunned to see how many people were still in the stores. I purchased a few needed items and also picked out some yarn to make grandson, Nolan, a couple of hats.

This evening, we helped Charlie’s parents celebrate their anniversary with ice cream cake and coffee. Tomorrow, most of the Christmas decorations will be packed away. I can’t say it will be nice to have things “back to normal”, whatever that is, but it seems to be time.

And that’s it from Casa Bond this evening.

  1. It’s funny, but when I was in the jewelry business the the first week of the year was one of the busiest. People were spending the money and gift certificates they got for Christmas.

    My tree is still up.

  2. Hi Diane…this particular photo is not mine, actually…if you click on it, it will take you to a BBC news item. But it seemed perfectly tongue-in-cheek for the post title. :)
