Around Town

The town of Windsor is a mix of older, stately homes and new developments springing up everywhere. “Downtown” King Street is known for its century-old, larger homes and here’s a sampling from a drive around town. (Apologies for slightly blurred photos…taken from car.)

  1. When we were still naively thinking we could open a writers colony in Nova Scotia, we looked long and hard at Windsor… Not only does it have many wonderful historical homes, but they are so inexpensive compared to some other places in the province.

It really is ideally situated, and quite lovely. As your photos show.

    Happy New Year, Nancy!

  2. I think the slight blur to the photos make them even better… more dreamy. And since I dream of getting back to NS, it’s perfect!
