I agree with Rose, Nancy! This is a stunning image, and a wonderful reminder. (Another case of a picture being worth a thousand words.) I myself can never forget, since today is also my most-beloved Mama’s birthday. As an only and much-loved child in a tiny rural town, she apparently thought for many years that the November 11 parade was in honor of her birthday! We lost her when she was just 59. November 11 will always be engraved on my heart!
